How Stake Dice Works
Stake Dice is a provably fair prediction game with a 1% house edge (99% RTP).
The mechanic is straightforward:
- You choose a threshold number (e.g., 50)
- You bet whether the result will be over or under that number
- A random number is generated (0–100)
- If you predicted correctly, you win
Win Probability and Payouts
The key feature of Stake Dice is the adjustable win probability slider. Moving it changes both your win chance and the payout multiplier.
| Win Probability | Payout Multiplier (approx.) | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 50% | ~1.98x | Roll over 50 |
| 25% | ~3.96x | Roll over 75 |
| 10% | ~9.9x | Roll over 90 |
| 5% | ~19.8x | Roll over 95 |
| 1% | ~99x | Roll over 99 |
The house edge (1%) is built into all payout multipliers — a 50% win chance pays 1.98x rather than 2x.
Provably Fair Verification
Every Dice result is determined by a cryptographic combination of:
- Server seed (SHA-256 hashed before play)
- Client seed (you provide)
- Nonce (increments each bet)
You can verify any historical result in Settings → Provably Fair in your Stake account.
Strategy Considerations
Low Probability, High Payout
Setting a low win probability (5-10%) produces infrequent but large payouts. Bankroll requirement is high — many losing bets precede each win.
High Probability, Low Payout
Setting a high win probability (85-95%) produces frequent small wins with occasional losses. Variance is lower. Useful for accumulating wagering volume for rakeback and VIP progression.
Bankroll Rule
Regardless of probability setting: never risk more than 1-5% of your session bankroll per bet. A 10% win probability means losing 90% of bets on average — long losing streaks are mathematically inevitable.
Dice for Rakeback Volume
Due to its fast pace and low minimum bet, Dice is popular for generating wagering volume for VIP progression. Each bet — regardless of outcome — counts toward your total wager volume. With referral code BNUS active, every Dice bet generates rakeback.
